Whirlpool Oven Control Board Reset

Remove the control board from the panel 4 screws step 2.

Whirlpool oven control board reset. Press the off clear button to cancel anything on the display and reset the microwave. The control will display pe to indicate the programming mode. Be sure to remove power to oven before proceeding. Uplug the keypad from the control board.

Leave the oven alone for about an hour. Saturday from 8 a m. Put the oven control board back together and return it to its original position. Turn on the oven.

If a whirlpool oven displays an error code make a note of the code and press the stop clear button on the display panel. You are going to re use the original plastic bezel aka panel substrate remove the front panel that contains the keypad and control board. Resetting an oven stuck in self cleaning mode once you ve ruled out power supply and control lock issues check to see if the whirlpool oven is engaged in its self cleaning cycle. Press and hold the door alarm keypad 2.

Power surges like nearby lightening can cause the oven to stop working as a safety measure but you can reset it easily. Release the door alarm keypad and wait 3 seconds. The control will display the current program code. If the code does not clear turn off the circuit breaker or unplug the oven for five minutes and then restore the power.
